What is the difference between health-related and skill-related physical fitness?

Skill-related fitness are the skills that you will need while participating in any type of sport or activity. Health-related fitness helps you keep up with your body and helps you exercise or work out longer without getting tired.

What are the health-related components of physical fitness?

Body composition, Cardiovascular endurance, Muscular strength, Muscular Endurance, and Flexibility.

What are the skill-related components of physical fitness?

Agility, Balance, Coordination, Reaction Time, Power, and Speed.

Why does a person not have to be a good athlete to be physically fit?

A person can be physically fit without being a good athlete because as long as that person continues to workout or exercise but doesn't play any sports, that person will still be considered fit.

Why is it important to know your current level of health-related fitness?

So that you can know how much exercise you need to do to improve your health-related fitness.
